Events for March 2010:
Jump To: [ Feb 2010 ] - [ Apr 2010 ]

Tuesday, February 9 - Friday, March 5
Location: Farnham Galleries, Simpson College

"Place and space, as amorphous terms, are my primary interest in visual exploration. The mental presence of images printed or words read inside a book hold similar power to an empty room in an old house; a two-dimensional piece of paper or wood can be either a window unto a world or an object itself. As poets put together words that form new and unexpected meanings, I place different forms of place and space in hopes of a similar outcome—to use a hermetic mixture of text, image, and composition that is rooted in geographical and psychological space."

Meet the artist February 18 at 5:00 p.m.

Farnham Galleries are located on the Simpson College campus, third floor of Mary Berry Hall on C Street. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Weekend hours can be arranged by request.

Enjoy the appetizer buffet and sparkling punch, tossed greens with fruit, sugared glazed nuts and sweet vinaigrette dressing, lasagna, swirled herbed rolls, and Death by Chocolate Cake for dessert.
